"[Kaitlyn] Riordan’s feminist interpretation resonates with present-day politics, specifically the #MeToo movement and the Trump presidency. But it also casts the entirety of the Bard’s canon in a new light, inviting all to imagine what other plays might look like if given a similar treatment."

"First and foremost, this is a gripping yarn, and the capacity of director Barrie, the 11-person cast, and the design team keep the tension and energy high in the outdoor setting of Withrow Park for a nearly two-hour running time is remarkable."

Acme was commissioned to design the creative campaign for Shakespeare in the Ruff’s 2018 production of Portia’s Julius Caesar—A radical adaption of Shakespeare’s beloved classic. Star Christine Horne was photographed as Portia and the images were printed, torn, collaged, and reshot to dramatic effect. The campaign included print posters, postcards, and triptych subway posters, as well as graphic assets for social media.
